Stone Leaf Ceramics is a project by
Dani Fogarty: ceramicist, bonsai artist, and filmmaker from Chicago, Illinois.
Most of the time, pots and bowls and vases are just inert objects. We fill them with flowers or tea or they decorate our homes. But sometimes, when some very particular and mysterious circumstances are met, they come alive and are filled with a spirit that demands attention. When you hold them in your hands you can almost feel a heartbeat and when you fill them with your favorite flowers or tea they smile at your offering.
My aim is to instill life into every bowl, cup, teapot and vessel. I hope that when you hold them in your hands they come alive for you.
